This role focuses on engineering, securing, and optimizing critical SaaS collaboration and endpoint management platforms across a modern IT environment. You will manage systems such as Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365, Confluence, Jira, Okta, Jamf, and Intune, ensuring they remain secure, scalable, and reliable. The position combines hands-on systems administration with automation, security engineering, integrations, and technical project leadership. You will help protect sensitive systems and data while improving workflows, operational efficiency, and the employee experience. Working closely with Security, Engineering, HR, and Legal teams, you will influence how technology is deployed and governed across the organization. This is a remote opportunity suited to an experienced IT engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and continuously improving enterprise systems.

Administer core SaaS collaboration and endpoint management platforms while providing advanced escalation and Tier 3 IT support.
Configure, integrate, and support Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365, Confluence, Jira, Okta, Jamf, and Intune.
Manage policies, software deployment, patching, security controls, and compliance requirements across Mac and Windows endpoints.
Own the lifecycle management of collaboration and endpoint management platforms, from implementation and optimization through ongoing administration and retirement.
Develop automation scripts and workflows using technologies such as Python, PowerShell, and Okta Workflows to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
Monitor system health, performance, and usage, proactively identifying and resolving issues or escalating them when appropriate.
Collaborate with Security, Engineering, HR, Legal, and other teams to align SaaS platforms with organizational infrastructure, security requirements, and business processes.
Conduct technical investigations and discovery across enterprise systems in support of Legal and HR requirements.
Support vendor management, technology evaluations, application onboarding, and technical solution selection.
Drive IT engineering projects and initiatives from planning through implementation and operational handoff.
Onboard new applications for single sign-on and ensure appropriate identity and access controls are implemented.
Develop and maintain technical operating procedures, IT policies, engineering roadmaps, and documentation.
Partner closely with Security teams to ensure platforms are designed and implemented according to security best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience supporting SaaS collaboration platforms and managing Mac and Windows endpoints.
Strong knowledge of enterprise IT environments, SaaS administration, endpoint management, and technical support.
In-depth understanding of email delivery flows, IT security principles, and Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
Knowledge of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), permissions models, and access management across SaaS applications.
Demonstrated scripting and automation experience, preferably with Python, PowerShell, or comparable technologies.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex technical issues.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong security mindset and understanding of how enterprise applications should be configured and integrated securely.
Ability to manage multiple technical projects and priorities while maintaining reliable day-to-day IT operations.
