This role offers the opportunity to define and build a go-to-market strategy for AI inference, one of the fastest-evolving areas of enterprise technology.
You will shape the positioning, messaging, use cases, and economic value proposition for inference solutions across a broad AI infrastructure portfolio.
The position combines deep customer engagement with technical storytelling, market discovery, competitive analysis, and hands-on product marketing execution.
You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Alliances, and Marketing teams while engaging directly with AI-native companies and infrastructure providers.
Your work will help identify priority markets, validate emerging opportunities, and translate early customer results into scalable sales and marketing motions.
This is an early-stage builder role suited to a technically curious marketer who enjoys ambiguity, experimentation, and turning market evidence into action.
- Define positioning, messaging, value propositions, priority use cases, and competitive differentiation for AI inference across the broader product portfolio.
- Develop the core proposition for AI clouds and service providers, including multitenancy, Kubernetes-based operations, and cross-cloud capabilities.
- Partner with Product and Sales to identify, recruit, and support design partners and early customers while capturing insights from customer engagements.
- Define and quantify the economic value of inference solutions across GPU utilization, time-to-first-token, throughput, concurrency, tokens per GPU, and cost per token.
- Build compelling economic cases that help technical and executive stakeholders understand the business value of adopting inference infrastructure.
- Partner with Technical Marketing, Engineering, and customers to transform benchmarks and production deployments into credible proof points and customer evidence.
- Act as a strategic marketing partner to Product, bringing customer and market insights into decisions about product priorities, target customers, and future investments.
- Lead product marketing for new inference capabilities, integrations, and solutions, testing positioning, segments, use cases, and packaging with customers and the field.
- Develop high-impact content such as blogs, web pages, solution briefs, presentations, whitepapers, and customer stories.
- Turn validated market patterns into repeatable sales plays, discovery guides, objection-handling resources, and enablement for Sales, Solutions Engineering, and partners.
- Represent the inference proposition with customers, analysts, media, and industry audiences through briefings, events, and thought leadership.
- Track early indicators of product-market fit, including ideal customer profile validation, design partner engagement, production customers, target-segment win rates, and eventual pipeline and revenue contribution.
Requirements

- Demonstrated experience taking a new product, category, market proposition, or business from an early stage through initial traction, either at a startup or as a new venture within a larger organization.
- Strong product marketing fundamentals spanning customer discovery, positioning and messaging, content development, product launches, and go-to-market strategy.
- Working knowledge of AI inference and its underlying infrastructure, including accelerated computing, model serving, GPU memory, data infrastructure, and the performance and cost dynamics of production AI workloads.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand infrastructure architectures, benchmarks, and product capabilities and translate them into clear value propositions for technical and business audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and communicate quantified economic models, including TCO, ROI, and cost-per-unit analyses, to both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and presentation skills, with experience personally creating high-quality solution briefs, presentations, web content, blogs, whitepapers, sales tools, or similar materials.
- Proven ability to collaborate directly with product managers, engineers, sales teams, and customers and turn diverse inputs into clear points of view and polished deliverables.
- Experience marketing to AI-native companies, ML/AI platform teams, cloud or service providers, or enterprise infrastructure buyers is a strong plus.
- Ability to operate effectively as a senior individual contributor, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and moving quickly from ideas to finished work.
- Strong evidence-based business judgment and ability to prioritize initiatives most likely to validate market opportunities and generate early traction.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments where market and product strategies evolve quickly based on customer and market feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Located in North America and willing to travel up to 25%.
