Senior Sales Executive, Provincial & Health Systems
Quick Summary
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Sales Executive, Provincial & Health Systems based in Canada.
This is a senior enterprise sales role focused on the largest and most strategic digital health opportunities across Canadian provincial and health systems. You will own complex sales cycles from account strategy and RFP pursuit through negotiation, close, and handover to delivery. The role combines executive-level relationship building with disciplined sales execution, forecasting, and multi-threaded account management. You will work closely with executive sponsors, bid strategy, solutions engineering, delivery, and customer teams. The environment is highly strategic, collaborative, and focused on long-term health-system partnerships. Regular travel across Canada is expected, making proximity to a major Canadian airport hub important.
You will take ownership of provincial and health-system opportunities end to end, bringing structure and commercial discipline to complex, multi-year sales cycles while building relationships across multiple levels of each account.
- Build and execute named account plans for provinces and health authorities, covering stakeholders, buying processes, budget cycles, political calendars, and procurement vehicles.
- Structure system-level programs into defined phases with clear scope, value, signatures, and forecasts.
- Establish mutual close plans for deals above $1M, including signers, procurement and legal pathways, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Lead provincial RFP pursuits in partnership with the Bid Manager, including bid/no-bid decisions, win themes, pricing strategy, orals, and demonstrations.
- Coordinate executive sponsorship with ministers, deputy ministers, and health-authority leaders, ensuring senior leaders remain focused on strategic sponsorship.
- Develop multi-threaded relationships with at least three stakeholders per account to reduce dependency on individual contacts.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce forecasting aligned with stage entry and exit criteria and participate in bi-weekly forecast reviews.
- Develop delivery plans alongside each close and remain engaged through go-live to support expansion and future phases.
- Collaborate with delivery and integration partners when they strengthen bids or expand market reach.
- Establish a named account plan for every province and health authority in play within the first 90 days.
- Develop customer-validated mutual close plans for all deals above $1M and ensure provincial opportunities are forecast by phase.
- Drive reliable provincial close dates, planned expansion phases, and new health-system agreements during the first year.
