This role offers the opportunity to help scale a fast-growing organization developing next-generation AI compute technology. You will own full-cycle recruiting across highly specialized technical areas including ASIC, silicon, hardware, software, systems, and AI infrastructure. The position also extends into Operations, Sales, Product, Finance, HR, and other business functions, providing broad exposure across the organization. You will partner directly with engineering leaders, executives, and hiring managers to define talent needs, build targeted pipelines, and secure high-quality candidates in competitive markets. The role combines technical recruiting expertise, proactive sourcing, market intelligence, and strategic workforce planning. It is well suited to an experienced recruiter who can operate independently, challenge hiring assumptions constructively, and thrive in a fast-paced scaling environment.
- Own full-cycle recruiting across ASIC and silicon engineering, hardware, software, systems, AI infrastructure, applications, operations, sales, product, finance, HR, and other functions.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to define role requirements, distinguish essential qualifications from preferred skills, establish interview processes, and develop effective search strategies.
- Build targeted sourcing strategies for highly specialized technical and business talent, with a strong focus on passive candidate engagement.
- Conduct talent mapping across semiconductor, AI infrastructure, hyperscale computing, networking, software, and adjacent technology ecosystems.
- Conduct substantive recruiter screens assessing technical or functional alignment, career motivations, compensation expectations, location requirements, and overall fit.
- Manage candidates throughout the complete recruiting lifecycle, from initial outreach and interviews through offer negotiation, closing, and pre-onboarding.
- Continuously calibrate candidate profiles with hiring teams using funnel performance, candidate feedback, and market intelligence.
- Develop recruiting strategies for both immediate hiring requirements and anticipated future workforce needs.
- Provide leadership with insights into talent availability, compensation trends, competitor hiring activity, and candidate sentiment.
- Manage multiple concurrent searches with a highly organized, analytical, and data-driven approach.
- Deliver a strong candidate experience throughout every stage of the recruitment process.
- Build long-term talent pipelines and identify emerging candidates who can support future organizational growth.
- Monitor recruiting velocity, pipeline quality, and process bottlenecks while helping hiring managers balance ideal profiles with available market talent.
Requirements
~1 min read- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within semiconductor, AI, high-performance computing, or another highly technical engineering environment.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting across multiple engineering disciplines, particularly ASIC, semiconductor, silicon, hardware, or related technical areas.
- Experience recruiting Software, Systems, Infrastructure, or comparable engineering talent.
- Ability to recruit across non-engineering functions, including Operations, Sales, Product, Finance, HR, and other SG&A areas.
- Strong technical understanding of areas such as ASIC design, design verification, microarchitecture, hardware, systems software, AI infrastructure, and related engineering disciplines.
- Experience recruiting across seniority levels, from early-career professionals through Staff and Principal engineers, managers, directors, and executives.
- Strong passive sourcing, talent mapping, market research, and competitive intelligence capabilities.
- Proven experience partnering directly with senior engineering leaders and hiring managers.
- Ability to constructively challenge and recalibrate hiring requirements when market data indicates that a profile is too restrictive.
- Strong offer management, negotiation, and candidate-closing skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized, analytical, adaptable, and comfortable managing a significant requisition portfolio in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience recruiting within both high-growth startups and established technology organizations is highly desirable.
- Exposure to multiple talent ecosystems, including semiconductor and silicon, AI infrastructure, software, enterprise technology, and go-to-market functions, is a strong advantage.
