This role offers the opportunity to shape the architecture, security, and engineering practices of a modern cloud platform.
You will design scalable, highly available microservices while contributing to enterprise-grade privileged access and identity management solutions.
The position combines hands-on software engineering with technical leadership, DevOps, security, testing, and operational excellence.
You will work with technologies including C#, .NET, Go, TypeScript, gRPC, AWS, Kubernetes, and automated testing frameworks.
A key part of the role is advancing Zero Trust and least-privilege security principles across complex enterprise environments.
You will also help establish AI-assisted engineering practices, mentor engineers, and influence technical standards across agile teams.
The role is fully remote within India and offers the opportunity to solve challenging problems in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, highly available microservices using C#, .NET Core, Go, and TypeScript, leveraging gRPC, REST APIs, and relevant application frameworks.
Architect and implement enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Identity and Access Management (IDAM) capabilities using technologies such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or HashiCorp Vault.
Apply Zero Trust and least-privilege principles to strengthen access controls and security across enterprise systems.
Develop and integrate SCIM-based identity and provisioning workflows where required.
Own and improve continuous delivery processes using CI/CD technologies and internal delivery platforms.
Build comprehensive automated testing strategies, including unit, functional, Playwright end-to-end, performance, scalability, and reliability testing.
Develop cross-platform services and native desktop applications supporting enterprise workflows across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
Establish effective observability through telemetry, logging, and distributed tracing to monitor system health, performance, and service-level objectives.
Participate in incident management, troubleshoot production issues, contribute to post-incident reviews, and drive timely resolution of critical problems.
Partner with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and engineering teams to manage technical debt, modernize legacy components, and establish consistent engineering practices.
Promote AI-assisted software development workflows and governance using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
Mentor engineers, contribute to technical and architectural reviews, and develop shared engineering knowledge and standards.

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including significant technical leadership experience as a Senior Staff Engineer, Lead Engineer, Architect, or similar role.
Deep expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and/or ABP Framework, with strong programming experience in Go and familiarity with TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of gRPC and RESTful API development and modern microservice architectures.
Advanced experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server, as well as NoSQL technologies such as DocumentDB.
Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and custom CI/CD automation pipelines.
Strong understanding of software testing and automation, including Playwright for end-to-end testing and tools for load, stress, performance, and reliability testing.
Experience designing or implementing PAM/IDAM solutions, preferably with platforms such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or HashiCorp Vault.
Understanding of Zero Trust security models, least-privilege access, identity management, and SCIM integrations.
Experience establishing or applying structured, AI-assisted software development workflows within production engineering teams.
Strong understanding of observability, distributed systems, reliability engineering, and operational excellence.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in an agile, remote-first environment and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
Must be located in and authorized to work in India.
Willingness and availability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to assigned production alerts.
