This role focuses on designing and delivering advanced AI and machine learning solutions that improve modern IT managed services. You will apply deep software engineering and AI/ML expertise to complex challenges across data center and network management, digital workplace services, automation, and cybersecurity. The position offers the opportunity to work across predictive analytics, anomaly detection, NLP, computer vision, and intelligent automation. You will collaborate with engineering, data, and cross-functional teams to turn emerging technologies into scalable solutions. The role combines hands-on development with technical design, research, documentation, and innovation. You will also help ensure AI/ML solutions are reliable, secure, compliant, and aligned with evolving business and technology needs.

Design, develop, and implement scalable AI and machine learning solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IT managed services.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI/ML integration across existing systems, workflows, and processes.
Build and maintain AI/ML models for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, automated incident response, network management, and cybersecurity.
Develop natural language processing solutions that enhance service desk operations and customer interactions.
Create and optimize algorithms for data mining, machine learning, statistical analysis, and other data-driven applications.
Contribute to computer vision initiatives supporting IT asset management and security-related use cases.
Research emerging AI/ML technologies and methodologies and identify opportunities to apply them to complex IT challenges.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to support high-quality data pipelines and reliable model development.
Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
Produce technical specifications, architecture documentation, implementation guidance, and best practices for AI/ML solutions.
Ensure solutions align with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, security considerations, and responsible AI practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years focused on AI/ML development.
Strong programming skills in Python or Java, with a solid foundation in software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
Strong knowledge of deep learning, neural networks, large language models, data analysis, statistical modeling, and mathematics.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their AI/ML services.
Hands-on experience with Git, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex AI/ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience applying AI/ML to IT operations, network management, or cybersecurity is preferred.
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools, big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark, and containerization/orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
A Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, or ML, contributions to open-source AI/ML projects, research publications, or knowledge of ethical AI principles would be additional advantages.
