We are seeking a seasoned network architecture professional to lead the design and evolution of complex enterprise networking and security infrastructure. In this fully remote, full-time role, you will shape scalable, secure, and highly available network solutions across on-premises, cloud, data center, and hybrid environments. You will establish architectural standards, guide strategic modernization initiatives, and ensure technology investments align with business objectives. Working closely with cloud, security, infrastructure, and application teams, you will deliver resilient connectivity and optimize network performance. You will also evaluate emerging technologies, manage strategic vendor relationships, and provide technical mentorship to engineering teams. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide technology strategy while solving challenging infrastructure and security problems.

  • Design enterprise network architectures: Develop scalable, secure, and highly available LAN, WAN, data center, cloud, and hybrid network solutions that meet business and operational requirements.
  • Establish architecture standards: Define network design principles, technical standards, best practices, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps to ensure consistency and long-term scalability.
  • Lead modernization initiatives: Drive large-scale network transformation, infrastructure migration, optimization, and technology refresh projects across enterprise environments.
  • Provide advanced networking expertise: Design and guide implementations involving BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, VXLAN/EVPN, VPN, Quality of Service (QoS), firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Architect cloud connectivity: Design and support Azure and other cloud networking environments, including secure hybrid connectivity between cloud platforms and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Guide complex troubleshooting: Provide senior-level technical direction for challenging network and security issues, helping engineering teams identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies: Assess networking and security solutions based on scalability, performance, resilience, security, operational requirements, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate across technical teams: Partner with Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, Application, and business stakeholders to align network architecture with enterprise priorities.
  • Manage vendor relationships: Work with network equipment vendors, telecommunications carriers, and technology partners to evaluate solutions, address technical challenges, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain architectural documentation: Produce and maintain network architecture diagrams, design specifications, implementation guidelines, and technical documentation.
  • Mentor engineering teams: Provide architectural guidance, share technical knowledge, and support the professional development of network engineers.
  • Support strategic decision-making: Translate complex technical considerations into practical recommendations that help stakeholders make informed infrastructure investments.
