This role is responsible for delivering technical automotive training and field support across the Canadian market.
You’ll help customers, commercial teams, and business partners build a stronger understanding of automotive brake products, systems, and applications.
The position combines classroom and virtual instruction with hands-on customer visits, field support, and technical troubleshooting.
You’ll develop engaging training materials, lead regional and national sessions, and adapt technical information for diverse audiences.
The role also serves as a key technical resource, staying current with automotive technologies, repair practices, and industry trends.
Strong relationship-building skills will be essential when working with customers, suppliers, stores, distribution facilities, and sales teams.
This is a dynamic, customer-facing opportunity for an experienced automotive professional who enjoys teaching, problem-solving, and working in the field.

Deliver technical automotive training sessions throughout Canada through classroom, virtual, regional, and national programs.
Create, update, and maintain training materials, curricula, presentations, and other educational resources.
Facilitate training events and adapt content to the technical knowledge and needs of different audiences.
Visit retail stores, commercial customers, distribution facilities, and other field locations to provide technical support.
Support field sales and commercial account teams through customer visits, ride-alongs, product education, and troubleshooting.
Serve as a primary technical resource for automotive products, systems, diagnostics, and applications.
Explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Stay informed about automotive technologies, repair practices, aftermarket products, and broader industry developments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, stores, commercial partners, and other stakeholders.
Support supplier-sponsored training initiatives and help strengthen customer engagement and product awareness.
Track training activities, attendance, and participation while evaluating program effectiveness and business impact.
Prepare regular activity and performance reports and maintain accurate training records.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional experience in the automotive industry.
Background in automotive repair, dealership operations, aftermarket automotive parts, technical support, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience delivering technical training, presentations, or educational programs.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant automotive experience.
Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair principles.
Understanding of aftermarket automotive products and their applications.
Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, practical content for diverse audiences.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation, facilitation, and instructional abilities.
Proven relationship-building and customer engagement skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual training platforms.
Ability to travel throughout the Canadian region for customer visits and training activities.
ASE or Red Seal certification is an advantage.
Previous experience as a Technical Trainer is preferred.
Knowledge of adult learning principles or instructional training methodologies is beneficial.
