What We Offer
~1 min readWe are seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse with a passion for aged care to join our Residential Facility at Wearne House in Mandurah. This is a part-time position.
Thursday: 15:00-22:00
Friday: 15:00 - 22:00
Key responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive reviews of residents through clinical assessments
- Safely administer medication to residents
- Assist with falls management and prevention
- Implement safe practice of care plans directed by the Registered Nurse
- Support and supervise care staff
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in relation to Residents, Families, Staff and other Health Professionals
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety in accordance to Aged Care Standards and Risk Management
You are passionate about providing holistic care to aged care residents and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment alongside healthcare professionals. You will contribute to the smooth operation of the facility through effective communication and work in accordance to Amana Livings core values.
- Evidence of Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
- Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks
- Current AHPRA Registration
- NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to attend 2 days paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
