Welder

• Weld and fabricate in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and fabrication environments
• MIG/GMAW, TIG/GTAW, Stick/SMAW, and Flux Core/FCAW welding, as well as structural welding, pipe welding, and production welding
• Equipment repair
• Welder/fitter work
• Fit-up work
• Layout, cutting, grinding, torch work, and fabrication from drawings and specifications
• Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and structural steel
• Read blueprints and interpret weld symbols

• Previous professional welding or fabrication experience
• Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
• Basic measurement and fabrication skills
• Welding hood, gloves, and appropriate PPE
