Salary Range: $66,888.00- $91,964.00 annually

## Your Responsibilities
As a Technical Instructor for John Deere Agriculture and Turf Training Center located in Regina, SK, you will develop and deliver various Agriculture and Turf training programs to dealers, company employees, and customers. Training programs include, but are not limited to products, services, and/or professional skills with heavy emphasis on product features, applications, and product system technologies. Training is primarily delivered in person and may also include distance and online learning.
In addition, you will:
* Assist with logistics involved with class delivery including scheduling, maximizing attendance, preparation of materials, equipment and class administration.
* Construct and maintain training aids, simulators and classroom exercises.
* Research training topics to increase subject matter expertise.
* Utilize knowledge of training to promote training products, systems and materials.
* Be responsible for classroom/training event administration (acquiring roster, taking enrollment, completing exit evaluations) and communicating results to appropriate personnel or system.
* Work with field managers and dealers to establish needs.
## What Skills You Need
* Strong mechanical skills with relevant farm machinery knowledge and experience.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Effective writing and communication skills.
* Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions.
* Valid driver's license.
* Willingness to travel (up to 50%) within Canada and the US to meet business needs.
* Willingness to relocate for future career opportunities.
## What Makes You Stand Out
* Bilingual communication skills (French/English).
* Knowledge of learning and development processes including instructional skills, presentation skills, needs assessments, adult learning theory, and curriculum development.
* Previous experience or knowledge of dealers and other channels.
* Marketing and/or product support experience.
* Strong presentation skills via multi-media methods.
* An understanding of GPS Technology and its application in the agricultural field.
## Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Agriculture or a related field
