→Provide detailed knowledge of the SWS, SSP, and continuous process improvement
→Draft, edit, approve, and maintain SWS Ashore operational, procedural and programmatic documentation
→Provide technical expertise and guidance in design reviews, trade studies, and other technical meetings
→Aid in configuration management
→Format specifications, directives, and correspondence in accordance with Navy manuals
→Facilitate the development, maintenance and reporting of documentation program activities

🧠What You Bring to the Table

→An intimate knowledge of SSP’s culture and practices
→5+ years developing, maintaining, and managing SWS documentation
→Subject matter expert in operational documentation development and documentation development applications
→Experience using Vulcan/Common Authoring Environment application
→Experience using Windchill/ACE
→Strong technical writing and configuration management skills
→A willingness to work in a team environment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks
→Initiative to seek out tasking
→Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate among multiple industry partners
→An active DoD security clearance at the SECRET level or above (or have held an active DoD clearance within the last 2 years)
→Ability to support required travel
→Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
→High quality communication and presentation dexterity

⭐Bonus Points

→Experience with the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program and SSP, including its culture, practices, and key stakeholders
→Familiarity with technical, logistical, and program issues with SWS and SWS Ashore
→Prior Navy SSBN experience
