Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Manage and optimize the Executive Director’s daily workflow, maintaining situational awareness of emerging issues, prioritizing high-level deliverables, and acting as the central point of contact for the executive office.
- →Execute coordination efforts between the Executive Director, Technical Division leads, Senior Executive Service (SES), military staff and defense industry partners to ensure alignment on SSP mission objectives.
- →Oversee executive office operations, including calendar management, complex scheduling, travel coordination, and logistical planning of high-profile meetings, briefings, and offsites.
- →Draft, review and edit highly sensitive executive correspondence, action items, meeting minutes, formal memorandums, and command-wide briefings to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with military protocols.
- →Track and facilitate the timely closure of action items, managing internal database workflows to guarantee that deliverable for leadership is complete.
- →Facilitate communication and maintain robust professional relationships across the command, helping to synthesize reporting materials, program updates, and strategic documentation.
🧠What You Bring to the Table
- →A bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
- →15+ years of experience in executive level office management, programmatic development, and administrative excellence within a DOD or military command environment.
- →An active DoD Secret clearance, or a previously active clearance held within the past two years and still in good standing.
- →Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), exceptional organizational acumen, and superior verbal and written communication skills for SES and flag officer.
- →Travel: Ability to travel up to 25%
