Commercial HVAC Service Tech

Allied Mechanical is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This full-time role covers diagnostics, repair, and maintenance across commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

• →Diagnose and repair rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps
• →Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to keep systems running at peak performance
• →Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults across HVAC equipment
• →Repair or replace components including motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats
• →Read and apply wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment manuals
• →Keep clients and teammates informed on service findings and next steps
• →Log service work accurately, including parts used and system condition
• →Follow all safety, code, and company compliance requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or technical training a plus
• 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role
• Solid grasp of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components
• EPA 608 certification
• Ability to read technical documents and blueprints
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel between job sites

• NATE certification or equivalent
• Experience with commercial HVAC systems and equipment
• Comfort using digital service tools and mobile work order platforms
