The overall scope of the Director of Marketing is to assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to position and promote Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates and outlets as the market leader ensuring compliance with the brand Kempinski.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

The job of Director of Marketing is executed satisfactorily when:

Marketing activities are created, planned, coordinated and implemented.
Goals as defined in the hotel marketing plan are reached.
Kempinski Brand is protected and awareness of the brand is enhanced.

At Kempinski, Talent Development is a management responsibility and consequently an integral and important part of our Managers’ daily activities. The Director of Marketing fulfils their role as a Talent Development Ambassador when they:

Support and implement Talent Development initiatives as a part of their daily activities.
Identify talent as per below definition* and actively support their career development.
Support and initiate transfer, cross exposure and task force assignments for their team.
Conduct TTTTs with their team on a regular basis and take personal interest for their development plans.
Recruit and select potential talent according to the Company’s current and future hotel, needs including conducting interviews for positions in their department and their region.
