VR Robot Tele-operator Shift Lead (INTERNAL)

We are looking for a dedicated Shift Lead to join the Tutor VR project. This is a hybrid position that perfectly combines the hands-on responsibilities of a VR operator with a Shift Lead role. You will coordinate the daily work of the operator team and report directly to the Team Leader. Alongside your coordination tasks, you will wear a VR headset to remotely control robotic arms, performing manipulation tasks such as packing and moving objects. Your movements will generate high-quality training data used to teach AI models how to operate autonomously. This is a technical, hands-on leadership role that requires patience, precision, excellent organizational and communication skills, and comfort with prolonged VR usage.

• →Coordinate the daily work and schedules of the VR operator team, ensuring tasks are executed repeatedly and consistently.
• →Report directly to the Client and Team Leader regarding team performance, output, and operational challenges.
• →Act as the primary point of contact for the client, utilizing very good English skills to maintain daily communication, report progress, and troubleshoot issues.
• →Continuous operation of robot arms using a VR headset to perform specific physical tasks (e.g., picking and packing sponges/boxes) with high precision.
• →Consolidate and report technical issues, bugs, or ergonomic challenges (e.g., depth perception issues, tracking loss) from the team to the engineering team.
• →Lead efforts in assisting and refining the user manual and setup procedures for current and future operators.

• Mandatory: Previous hands-on experience working on the current VR project.
• Current Shift Lead in Keywords Studios.
• Very good English communication skills, as this is strictly required for seamless communication with the client.
• Must be comfortable using VR for extended periods without experiencing motion sickness.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high consistency and focus.
• Comfortable setting up hardware, troubleshooting basic connectivity issues, and following technical instructions.
• Must be based in Mexico City and able to work from the office.
• On-site with WFH options.
