Key Responsibilities
Open the bar daily and serve as the bartender for the entirety of the event. Serve and attend to all guests in a timely manner, while upholding KIGR standards of service at all times.
Requirements Summary
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to mix and serve alcohol. Prior bartending experience preferred. Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service preferred. TIPS training preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Open the bar daily and serve as the bartender for the entirety of the event.
Serve and attend to all guests in a timely manner, while upholding KIGR standards of service at all times.
Responsible for efficiently opening the bar at the beginning of their shift; the Bartender will ensure the bar is stocked and have everything they need during service to ensure the event runs smoothly (responsible for keeping up with garnishes, ice, clean glasses, etc).
Must have knowledge of beverage service.
Provide all guests with prompt and professional service.
Maintain bar cleanliness at all times during hours of operations by keeping all bar areas organized and uncluttered at all times.
Ensure the bar is attended to by a bartender, or a member of the management staff, at all times.
Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor with guests and teammates at all times, and be able to collaborate with other departments throughout KIGR.
Maintains a positive environment through communication, partnerships and the sharing of resources.
Follow all safety and cleaning SOPs, including, but not limited to: empty trash containers before they reach the top.
Have a full understanding of all banquet menus and banquet event orders specified by a group.
Be organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure.
Be knowledgeable of daily events and activities within the hotel and resort.
Follow directions and assignments given during daily line- ups.
Must be able to speak before large groups.
Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display.
Communicating with the manager/captain daily about guest interactions.
Prepping for the next day according to the standard.
Responsible service of alcohol.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to mix and serve alcohol.
Prior bartending experience preferred.
Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service preferred.
TIPS training preferred.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings, based on operation and event demands required.
Must be able to pass a background check.
