Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.
Qualifications:
High School graduate, or GED equivalent, is preferred.

Must be able to communicate in English verbally and written. Reading and counting is essential.
Must be able to work in high heat indexes.
Must possess the ability to perform tasks with attention to detail, speed accuracy, and follow-through.
Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
Expectations & Responsibilities:
Responsible for uniform and guest clothes flow as it relates to the dry cleaning machines, washing machines and all of the pressing machines.
A basic knowledge of resort activities is required to ensure timeliness of department needs that would be outlined by supervisor.
Responsible for inspection of uniforms and should report any issues to supervisor.
Must adhere to proper Cleaning Chemical(s) usage, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
Adhere to all health department, sanitation and safety regulation as required by the resort.
Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies and equipment.
Replenish supplies and equipment as needed during the shift.
Monitor conditions of linens and sort appropriately either in the stained pile or according to the linen type.
Report faulty equipment, linen shortages, maintenance needs, safely hazards and other problems immediately to your supervisor.
Restock work areas for the next shift, as assigned.
Successfully complete the training and certification process for this position.
All other duties as assigned.
Essential Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds across short-medium distance.
Must be able to stand on their feet for an 8-hour shift.
Our Concierge Desk is staffed from 7AM – 11PM 365 days of the year, so flexibility with your schedule and willingness to work holidays will be a necessity.
Must be open to receiving regular feedback through weekly standards assessments.
Must possess a desire to continuously seek out the opportunity to explore and experience new area attractions and restaurants in order to build upon your knowledge of Kiawah Island and the surrounding area.
Must be able to work on site due to daily needs of the job requirements.
