Experienced HVAC Installer
Purpose: As an HVAC Installer, you will lead jobs, crews, and projects alongside other HVAC installers and apprentices. Holding either a Mechanical Journeyman or Unlimited Mechanical Contractor license, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects, primarily focusing on new residential and multi-family construction.
Responsibilities
Install, modify, inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment according to Oklahoma and National Mechanical Codes.
Directly supervise apprentices and junior installers on-site, ensuring all work meets state safety and quality standards.
Identify hazards and safety problems applicable to the installation and operations of HVAC projects and take immediate corrective action.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, building and maintaining schedules to meet strict deadlines.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Complete quality control sheets and documentation for municipal inspections.
Qualifications
Licensing: Must possess a valid Mechanical Journeyman or Mechanical Contractor license from the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board (CIB). (Limited or Unlimited classification).
Certification: Must hold a current EPA Section 608 Certification for safe refrigerant handling.
Experience: Proven leadership skills with the ability to empower and train individuals within your team.
Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of local Oklahoma municipality codes and the International Mechanical Code (IMC).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional collaboration with builders, general contractors, and project managers.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Availability: Ability to work 6 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as project demands require.
General: Valid driver’s license and a strong, consistent work ethic.
