Purpose: As a licensed electrician, holding either a Journeyman or Unlimited Electrical Contractor license, you will lead jobs, crews, projects, and apprentice electricians to complete electrical work on new construction projects, including residential and multi-family buildings.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Lead and empower individuals within your respective team.
Oversee quality control within your project(s).
Manage subcontractors utilized for the job.
Inspect, install, modify, repair, and maintain electrical systems according to applicable Oklahoma and National Electrical Codes (NEC).
Communicate effectively with builders, general contractors, and project managers.
Build and maintain project schedules to meet strict deadlines.
Qualifications
Must have a valid Journeyman or Unlimited Electrical Contractor license from the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board (CIB).
Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License.
Excellent communication skills for professional collaboration.
Availability: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of local Oklahoma municipality codes and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Core Physical Requirements
Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50–75 lbs independently.
Mobility: Capacity for climbing ladders, crawling in tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces), and kneeling for extended periods.
Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination for precision work with small tools and components.
Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for 8–12 hour shifts in varying weather or non-climate-controlled environments.
