About the Role
~1 min readOur client is seeking a Safety Manager – Foundations to support safety and environmental compliance across deep foundation and heavy civil construction operations.
This position will play a hands-on role in maintaining a safe work environment across projects involving commercial and high-rise buildings, bridges and marine structures, industrial and manufacturing facilities, and infrastructure and transportation projects.
The Safety Manager will work closely with project teams, supervisors, employees, and subcontractors to identify risks, implement effective safety programs, investigate incidents, and promote a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities

- →Investigate incidents, near misses, property damage, and workers' compensation matters.
- →Develop and implement site-specific safety and health plans.
- →Conduct safety training and orientation for employees, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- →Support compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- →Maintain safety records, documentation, and required reports.
- →Identify and oversee personal protective equipment requirements.
- →Manage and monitor air-monitoring instruments and related equipment.
- →Assist with safety and environmental initiatives across foundation and heavy civil operations.
- →Provide backup support to the Safety Coordinator as needed.
- →Partner with field leadership to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve safety performance.
The position is based in Rogers, Minnesota, with regular travel to jobsites and overnight stays. The typical schedule is 8–10 hours on weekdays, with occasional weekends and overtime as project demands require.
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, waste, transportation, or a related industry.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Working knowledge of construction safety and environmental principles.
- Strong incident investigation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
- Ability to travel regularly and stay overnight as required.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- OHST, CHST, or CSP certification.
- OSHA 500 certification.
- Confined Space, HAZWOPER, DOT, and/or MSHA training.
- Class A or B CDL with current medical card.
- Knowledge of driver qualification files and DOT compliance.
- Experience supporting deep foundation, heavy civil, industrial, infrastructure, or transportation projects.
