Exam Centre Manager

We are seeking expressions of interest for the appointment of our Exam Centre Manager for NZQA examinations later in the year.  

This position will be a short-term contract with NZQA primarily for the month of November and would be suitable for an organised, flexible and adaptable person who enjoys working under pressure.  You will be responsible for a team of exam supervisors and also work closely with young students completing their examinations.  

Applicants must be able to model the ideals and behavior that exemplify the principles and vision of our school. Experience working in a school setting is advantageous. 

Key requirements:  

• High level of digital literacy (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to interact with online systems and processes)  

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail  

• Ability to follow processes accurately  

• Confidence leading and managing staff.  

Role expectations:  

• Be available for the full exam period (Nov – Dec)  

• Follow NZQA processes and procedures  

• Undertake planning and administrative tasks to prepare the exam centre. 
  
  

The successful applicant should be prepared to complete some training days with NZQA in the months prior to the commencement of full time employment during the exam sessions in November.
