Second Shift Termination Operator

Follows Knowles travelers, work instructions, and procedures to apply termination to capacitors. Ensures quality standards are met while operating equipment and accurately recording production data in company systems.

• →Read travelers and Knowles procedures to select the proper termination for required parts.
• →Program the Chip Star machine with the appropriate dimensions and termination type.
• →Place racks of parts into the hand termination process and follow approved procedures to apply termination.
• →Remove plates with pieces and dry them in the oven according to established processes.
• →Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality and production requirements.
• →Accurately enter production, quality, and process information into company computer systems and manufacturing databases.
• →Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• →Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• →Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, travelers, lot paperwork, and company procedures. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to learn and understand moderately complex manufacturing processes, mechanical assemblies, and basic equipment maintenance tasks.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to accurately enter, retrieve, and maintain information in company systems.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality standards, and ability to work effectively in a production environment.
• Must maintain regular and reliable attendance, adhere to established work schedules, and comply with company timekeeping and attendance policies.
• Must be flexible and willing to be cross-trained in other departments, processes, and job functions as required to support business and operational needs.
• Must be able and willing to work overtime as needed to meet production schedules and business requirements.
