Special Testing Operator - High Voltage

Overview: Electrically test high voltage capacitors according to engineering specifications and quality standards

• →Electrically test capacitors using LCR, IR, and LC meters
• →Capacitor voltage testing, AC and DC
• →Set up and perform pulse testing of capacitors
• →Ability to set up complex testing involving inverters and resonant frequency circuits
• →Performs mechanical tests of capacitors for dimension accuracy
• →Ability to read and follow advanced test procedures including military standards
• →Ability to adhere to the highest standard of quality while continually performing at the highest level possible

• Ability to read and comprehend oral and written instructions and other manufacturing documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers and co-workers

• Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and additional test specific software
• Ability to read and understand test specifications

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit - Full body movement
• Constant alertness
• Routinely lift or move up to 50 lbs.

• Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and the potential of electrical shocks
• Occasionally exposed to exterior temperature conditions - heat in the summer, cold in the winter
• Regularly exposed to loud noise
