As a Junior Accountant in our Private Enterprise team, you’ll work with the small and medium‑sized businesses that drive Aotearoa’s economy - gaining hands‑on experience while you study toward becoming a Chartered Accountant.

- Collaborate with the Private Enterprise compliance team to support New Zealand’s privately-owned businesses in meeting their goals.
- Assist in preparing annual accounts and tax returns, or monthly management work, initially focusing on smaller and more straightforward clients (including data entry, spreadsheet work, drafting accounts, etc.).
- Respond to client queries and support the compliance team in managing client relationships concerning income tax, GST, and other indirect taxes.
- Attend in-house or external training to enhance your knowledge and proficiency in using professional accounting software.
- Apply your learning directly to practical challenges, gaining hands-on experience.
- Provide insightful financial solutions and advice to help businesses thrive.
- Balance your work commitments with part-time study as you progress toward becoming a Chartered Accountant.
- Embrace opportunities for professional development and career advancement within the firm.
- Assist other team members with administrative tasks as needed.
