We are seeking a structured, critical-thinking Operations Specialist who thrives in a vibrant, hands-on and fast-paced environment. This pivotal role reports directly to the Operations Manager and will be the driving force behind maintaining smooth daily operations, supporting our Consulting team.
In our Operations team, we get things done and enable everyone in the organisation to get things done too. Our Operations team covers a broad range of areas, including finance, administration, IT, compliance and strategic initiatives.
We provide support to our ever-growing team of Consultants and contribute to the effective delivery of projects by managing, maintaining and executing operational and administrative tasks, developing and managing operational processes and systems, identifying optimisation opportunities and driving improvement initiatives.
- To provide daily support by addressing our consultants’ requests and executing Laminar Operations processes
- To identify improvement opportunities in our operations and drive improvement initiatives
- Be able to critically think through problems and come up with structured solutions
- As part of our Operations team, you will work closely with the different areas within Operations and other departments to optimise workflows, develop and refine processes

Consultants Support: You will be the go-to person in answering and supporting our consultants’ questions and requests, helping them get up to speed and deliver the best value to our projects

Project and Systems Setup: You will get the ball rolling by setting up the systems and assets necessary for projects to start

Customer systems management & contract review and compliance: you will set up and manage our registration in customer systems and ensure we comply with our clients' administrative requirements. You will support the review of new project contracts, NDAs, travel insurances, certifications, highlight potential risks and ensure compliance with our standards

Cross-functional collaboration & process improvement: you will be part of our Operations team, working together in developing and managing scalable processes and systems, spotting new improvement opportunities and driving improvement initiatives

Develop everyone: maximise the development of yourself personally and professionally, and educate our team to improve as well
You are methodical, thorough, with a great sense of ownership, great attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
You can understand the big picture (problem concept) and have the ability to break any problem into small, actionable chunks.
You think in systems and are naturally inclined to convert repetitive tasks into processes.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact at all organizational levels.
You are self-driven and passionate about learning and constantly developing yourself.
This role would suit an engineering, science or business graduate (or recent graduate)
