As we expand our operational teams, we are now recruiting an HGV Jetting Team Leader to support and guide Operatives in delivering exceptional customer service, first‑class safety standards, and innovative operational solutions across North and Central Wales.
As an experienced Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading an operative to deliver high‑quality, safe, and efficient wastewater network services across the region. You will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring compliance, driving exceptional performance, and acting as the senior point of contact on site.
About the Role
Salary: up to £16.50 per hour depending on experience
Working Hours: 45 per week (1 in 4 on call duties)
Location: Kinmel Bay (north wales)

Key Responsibilities
- Operate the HGV CityFlex unit, including high‑pressure jetting and CCTV inspection equipment
- working as part of a 2 person team
- operating high specification jetting equipment and vacuumation units
- work projects including any drainage related issues including blockage clearances, pipe cleansing programmes and emergency reactive works.
- ensure full compliance with all required Health and Safety requirements
- conduct daily vehicle chekcs to guarantee roadworthiness and report any issues
- Maintain high standards of equipment care, ensuring all tools, machinery, and PPE are safe and fit for purpose
Experience & Qualifications
Desirable unless stated as required
- HGV Class 2 licence – Required
- Full UK Driving Licence – Required
- Experience leading small teams or mentoring operatives (preferred)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident working with technology and electronic reporting tools

- Water Jetting Association Red/Blue Book
- Banksman
- Manual Handling
- Emergency First Aid
- NRSWA
- EUSR National Water Hygiene
- Asbestos Awareness
- CPC Driver Training (HGV only)
- Slinger & Signaller
- Abrasive Wheels
