Facility Administrator

The Northland Fleet Services, located in Tumbler Ridge, BC, is looking for a Facility Administrator.

Northland Fleet Services is a member of the LaPrairie Group of Companies. Located in Tumbler Ridge, BC since 1984, Northland supplies light vehicle and heavy equipment repair and maintenance services to the mining and resource industries in Tumbler Ridge and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• 
  Invoicing – review of charges with service writer, producing invoices and sending to customer.
• 
  Purchase requisition submissions, receiving and closing for AP process.
• 
  Parts inventory and purchase data input – using TMT Software System.
• 
  Answer and manage incoming facility / office telephones.
• 
  Shipping packages and communication with courier and transportation vendors.
• 
  Arrange travel accommodations for key personnel when required -booking hotels, car rentals on.
• 
  Ensure adequate supplies of office stationery, general office supplies, office furniture, and other equipment.
• 
  Assisting in all aspects of administration – parts and service-related.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Education Requirements:

• 
  Proven computer literacy, data entry, data editing and typing skills.
• 
  Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

• Minimum of Grade 12 Diploma or GED. Office Administration Certification or Business or Accounting Diploma would be an asset.
• Previous experience with automotive /commercial / heavy equipment maintenance management systems an asset.
• Solid communication skills (verbal & written).
• Organized with good time management and able to set priorities.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Must have valid driver's license.
