Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary voice of the Amazon business internally, enrolling senior stakeholders across sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance around a unified growth agenda.
  • Deliver clear, insight-driven business reviews that translate performance data into action and influence resourcing and prioritization decisions.
  • Act as the connective tissue between Amazon strategy and broader omnichannel/retail.com initiatives.
  • Bring forward creative, non-obvious growth strategies – new product launch approaches, media tactics, or operating model changes – that drive efficiencies via automation.
  • Modernize how the team operates, including building scalable reporting, dashboards, and analytical tools (including AI-powered tools) that accelerate decision-making.
  • Continuously assess and refine our Amazon operating model to improve speed, efficiency, and results.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team, building a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear priorities and growth plans for direct reports, building bench strength for the future.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience managing Amazon (1P) businesses, within CPG or consumer products.
  • Demonstrated full P&L ownership, including forecasting, budgeting, and margin management.
  • Proven track record of driving profitability, sustained growth through retail media, content optimization, and assortment/promotional strategy.
  • Experience leading vendor negotiations and JBP processes directly with Amazon.
  • Direct experience managing an Amazon agency or other external partners, including setting scope, KPIs, and accountability.
  • Strong analytical fluency; comfortable building or directing dashboards and reporting, including leveraging AI tools to accelerate insight generation.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and enroll senior, cross-functional stakeholders around a shared strategy.
  • Experience managing and developing a team.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
  • Sustained, profitable growth of the Amazon P&L – both top-line revenue and bottom-line margin.
  • A modernized, more efficient Amazon operating model with scalable reporting and analytical capability.
  • A high-performing agency partnership delivering measurable ROI against clear KPIs.
  • Strong cross-functional alignment and senior stakeholder confidence in the Amazon growth agenda.
  • A capable, growing team equipped to sustain and build on the business's momentum.
