Responsibilities

Serve as the Release Manager, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of releases within the ServiceNow platform to support NIH/HHS initiatives.

Act as a senior ServiceNow technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance and expertise on release management processes and best practices.

Develop and maintain release schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines and organizational priorities.

Collaborate with stakeholders across NIH/HHS to define release requirements, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.

Ensure the successful deployment of ServiceNow updates, enhancements, and new features, minimizing disruption to operations.

Lead efforts to standardize and optimize release management processes, driving efficiency and consistency across the organization.

Monitor and report on release progress, identifying and resolving issues to ensure timely delivery.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams involved in release activities, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Develop and maintain documentation related to release management, including plans, schedules, and post-release reports.

Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
~1 min readStrong knowledge of release management processes, tools, and best practices.
Experience managing complex releases in large-scale environments, including planning, coordination, and execution.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to develop and maintain detailed documentation, including release plans, schedules, and reports.
Nice to Have
~1 min readServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
Familiarity with ITIL best practices and frameworks.
Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
