Mid Data Analyst

Position Title: Mid Data Analyst 

Location: Bogota

What you will be doing:

We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Analyst to transform raw data into actionable insights that support business decision-making and improve operational performance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with structured and semi-structured data, and the ability to develop reports, dashboards, and data models that communicate key business metrics effectively.

The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other technical teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability while identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.

• Strong experience with Excel, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, SUMPRODUCT, IF logic, dynamic arrays, pivot tables, pivot charts, conditional formatting, data cleaning, and large-dataset management.

• Strong PowerPoint skills, including chart updates, waterfall visuals, concise commentary, consistent formatting, and quality control.

• Experience with Budget and forecast variance analysis, KPI reporting, labor and productivity analysis, cost allocation, trend analysis, and financial statement awareness.

• Understanding of data modeling concepts and relational databases. 

• Financial experience is highly appreciated.  

• Experience with data cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and validation techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and translate them into actionable business recommendations.

• Experience gathering requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Oracle ERP and Oracle SmartView; experience retrieving, refreshing, and reconciling financial data is a plus.

• Power BI, Power Query, SQL, BigQuery, or other data transformation and visualization tools.

• FP&A, Operations Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Corporate Finance, or shared services experience.

• Distribution, logistics, parcel delivery, transportation, warehousing, fulfillment, or labor-intensive operations experience.

• Experience supporting U.S.-based teams and maintaining meaningful overlap with U.S. business hours.
