At Ledgebrook, we’re building a next-generation insurance infrastructure - fast, smart, and scalable - and are looking for an Attorney who excels in providing practical legal advice in a business-friendly  manner.

Our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance function supports the company’s overall business operations through a collaborative approach focused on providing effective advice and guidance at the speed of Ledgebrook.  We emphasize a business-focused mindset that serves to provide our leadership with effective solutions that help mitigate risks while enabling the organization to achieve its overall strategic goals aligned to Ledgebrook’s culture of doing the right thing.

• Experience with non-admitted surplus lines insurance.
• Experience with delegated authority underwriting, including fronting arrangements.
• Familiarity engaging with the NAIC and state insurance departments.
• Familiarity with corporate, corporate governance, AI, privacy, cybersecurity and IP legal matters.
• Familiarity with the (re)insurance laws/regulations in certain foreign jurisdictions.
• Experience with complicated reinsurance and ILS transactions.
