Housekeeper Team Leader - Full Time

The Housekeeping Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and supporting the cleaning team, ensuring that properties and common areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This role acts as a key link between the team and Supervisors, ensuring daily operations run smoothly, tasks are well distributed, and a consistent, high-quality service is delivered.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities (in this role you will)
- Coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
- Support cleaning duties and ensure tasks are completed within set deadlines.
- Carry out inspections of rooms, apartments, and communal areas to ensure cleaning quality and presentation meet company standards.
- Train, support, and guide new staff on procedures and best practices.
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen, ensuring adequate inventory is maintained.
- Report maintenance issues and follow up on resolution.
- Provide team feedback and report incidents to Supervisors when necessary.
- Act as the main point of contact between the housekeeping team and Supervisors.
- Assist with cleaning tasks when required, supporting operations as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a team lead or supervisory role.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Good communication skills and a strong team spirit.
- Flexibility to work weekends and shifts when required.
- Desirable experience in facilities, hospitality, or managing cleaning for short, medium, or long-term rentals.
- Proactive mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
