Facilities Manager

Description

• →Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly. 
• →Takes care of routine maintenance (painting, minor plumbing repairs,  small general repairs, etc.) as necessary.
• →Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repairs for our school vehicles.
• →Coordinate repairs, replacements, or acquisitions as needed. 
• →Liaise with external vendors and contractors for facility-related services, ensuring timely completion of projects within budgetary constraints. 
• →Coordinating receipt and distribution of larger deliveries. 
• →Assisting with safety inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure all are up-to-date.
• →Assisting with landscaping duties (ant treatment, grounds cleaning, weed control, etc.).
• →Assisting with carline and other shared schoolwide duties as needed.
• →Overseeing incoming facilities work orders for tasks such as (but not limited to) hanging items, adjusting desks, moving furniture, etc.
• →Coordinating setup and breakdown from school events. 

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Five years or related experience preferred
• Ideal candidate is handy with most minor construction projects and repairs, and unfazed by the request to clean up minor disasters, accidents, and mishaps.
• Be a motivated self-starter and take pride in the appearance of the school and grounds.
