In this role, you'll help individuals access valuable home and community-based services that promote independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. You'll have the opportunity to work autonomously, build meaningful connections with families, and contribute to an important statewide program.

Responsibilities

As an Independent Assessor, you will:

  • Conduct virtual and occasional in-person meetings with children and adults living with autism and developmental disabilities
  • Interview family members, guardians, and caregivers
  • Administer structured assessments
  • Prepare professional reports and recommendations
  • Help determine eligibility for services that support greater independence and community inclusion
  • Primarily work from home
  • Monday through Friday daytime schedule
  • No evening, overnight, or weekend requirements
  • Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • High degree of autonomy and independence
  • Most work is completed remotely from your home office
  • Local travel is required approximately 25% of the time
