About the Role
~1 min readJoining our team in Chinchilla, you will support a person with disability who accesses our community access services.
The person you will be supporting enjoys fishing, BBQ’s, movies and attending events and markets and is looking for a support worker who shares these interests and is passionate about active support.
You will join the team on a permanent part-time basis of 1–2-day shifts per week between 2-5 hours in length. There is flexibility in days worked Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Responsibilities

- →Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
- →Maintain thorough record keeping
- →Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
- →Advocate for client choice and control
Requirements
~1 min read- Interest in fishing, BBQ’s and movies
- Experience working with people with disability
- Passionate about active support
- Experience with mobility support and manual handling
- Strong computer and verbal and written communication skills
- An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
