About the Role
~1 min readJoining our Lifestyles (home care support) team, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes and accessing the community, with travel between clients and working short, split shifts required.
The successful candidate will have experience in providing support with daily personal activities and manual handling.
To be considered for this role you must be able to commit to a variety of client session times (starting from 2 hours in length) between 6am and 8pm within Dee Why and surrounds. We have Permanent Part Time and Casual roles available.
The successful candidate will be required to travel between clients homes to support multiple clients each day, so a willingness to travel is essential.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Ensure client safety, dignity, and person-centred support
- →Assistance with daily living (including personal care)
- →Maintain and monitor person-centred plans
- →Documenting and progress note keeping
Requirements
~1 min read- Previous experience supporting people with disability in a home care and community setting
- Confidence and experience in manual handling, hoist transfers and providing personal care
- Previous experience providing HIDPA supports
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Australian Drivers Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Passionate about delivering Person-Centred care
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
