Youth Worker. Casual - Brisbane

Life Without Barriers is recruiting Youth Workers for our Out of Home Care and Residential programs across Brisbane. If you bring compassion, resilience and trauma-informed understanding — we’d love to hear from you.

Many of our leaders began as Youth Workers. This role can launch a long-term career or provide flexible, meaningful work while you study.

You will:

• Build safe, trusting relationships with children and young people

• Be a positive role model and support life skills development

• Encourage family connection and community participation

• Support young people to have a voice in decisions

• Work across a 24/7 roster, including sleepover shifts

Chermside | Alderley | Cannon Hill | Mt Gravatt | Inala | Forest Lake
Training and meetings held in Milton.

• Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant qualification (completed or actively enrolled – QLD standards apply)

• Experience supporting trauma-based behaviours

• Unrestricted (Open) Driver’s Licence

• Registered and insured vehicle

• Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)

• Willingness to obtain a Blue Card
