Life Without Barriers is recruiting Youth Workers for our Out of Home Care and Residential programs across Brisbane. If you bring compassion, resilience and trauma-informed understanding — we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

Build safe, trusting relationships with children and young people

Be a positive role model and support life skills development

Encourage family connection and community participation

Support young people to have a voice in decisions

Work across a 24/7 roster, including sleepover shifts
Chermside | Alderley | Cannon Hill | Mt Gravatt | Inala | Forest Lake
Training and meetings held in Milton.
Requirements

Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant qualification (completed or actively enrolled – QLD standards apply)

Experience supporting trauma-based behaviours

Unrestricted (Open) Driver’s Licence
-
Registered and insured vehicle
-
Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)

Willingness to obtain a Blue Card
