About the Role
~1 min readOur client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a short-term position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services.
Responsibilities
~1 min readIn this role, you will conduct assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs, implement moving and handling techniques to ensure client safety, and provide minor adaptations and equipment to support clients' daily living activities. You will manage Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, you may engage in front-line work to address immediate client needs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to deliver comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
~1 min read- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of moving and handling techniques, minor adaptations, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
