Liquid Personnel is recruiting Lead Occupational Therapist for its client's Children & Families Team at Brent.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs the Lead Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing the Social Care Occupational Therapy Service within Brent. This is a highly impactful position where your clinical expertise and leadership will directly influence the quality of support received by children and families across the borough.
- →Lead and manage a team of Social Care Occupational Therapists.
- →Provide regular supervision, guidance, and professional development support.
- →Work directly with children and families to assess needs and deliver expert clinical advice.
- →Recommend appropriate equipment, home adaptations, and environmental modifications that enhance wellbeing and promote independence.
- →Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams and external partner agencies to deliver coordinated, child‑focused interventions.
- →Contribute to improved outcomes for some of Brent’s most vulnerable young residents.

- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
- The ability to lead, inspire, and support a team of Occupational Therapists.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work across service boundaries.
- A child‑centred approach and a commitment to delivering high‑quality, strengths‑based support.
