Occupational Therapy - Paediatric

• →Manage a caseload of children and young people with a range of needs, including complex disabilities
• →Provide occupationally focused assessments, reports, and interventions
• →Act as an expert advisor and practitioner in Children’s OT, offering second opinions when OT provision in EHCPs is contested
• →Lead OT input for SEND appeals and tribunal legal processes
• →Work closely with the EHCP Team and other stakeholders, contributing to appeals as an expert witness

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC Registration
• Significant experience working with children with SEND
• Proven ability to produce high-quality reports for EHCPs
• Strong understanding of legal duties and the SEND Code of Practice
• Experience in social services and paediatric settings
