Senior Occupational Therapist

Liquid Personnel is seeking a highly experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care team at Walthamstow. This role is suited to a professional with advanced moving and handling expertise and a minimum of three years’ experience in a local authority social services setting.

• →Conduct strength-based assessments in line with the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation
• →Assess individuals in their own homes to maximise independence and safety
• →Recommend and coordinate the provision of equipment and structural adaptations
• →Collaborate with housing teams, contractors, and community partners
• →Manage a varied caseload in accordance with Adult Social Care priorities
• →Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding and legal processes
• →Engage in ongoing professional development

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registration
• Enhanced DBS check (required prior to start)
• Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience
• Proven experience in social services settings (not just hospital-based roles)
• High-level expertise in moving and handling
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, equipment provision, and adaptations
