Social Worker - Child in Need / Child Protection - Middlesbrough

• →Early Intervention and Prevention: Working with families to address early signs of need and prevent escalation of concerns.
• →Supporting Families: Developing and implementing support plans to help families overcome challenges, improve their parenting skills, and build stronger relationships.
• →Promoting Child Wellbeing: Focusing on the child's wellbeing, ensuring their needs are met, and promoting their development and growth.
• →Safeguarding Children: Investigating allegations of abuse and neglect, ensuring the safety and protection of children at risk.
• →Case Management: Conducting thorough assessments, developing care plans, and coordinating services with other agencies.
• →Court Work: Providing expert testimony in court proceedings, advocating for the child's best interests.

• Hold a Social Work England registration.
• Be eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a social worker within children’s services.
