Hours: 37 per week – flexible working available

About the Organisation
Liquid Personnel is working in partnership with a local authority committed to delivering high‑quality services that improve outcomes for children and families. The service operates using the Family Safeguarding Model, a multi‑disciplinary approach introduced in 2022 that brings together social workers, domestic abuse practitioners, recovery workers, and mental health specialists to address whole‑family needs effectively.

The organisation also benefits from a well‑established Social Care & Leadership Academy, which promotes continuous learning, professional development, and manageable caseloads to support sustainable practice.

About the Role
The service is recruiting Qualified, Experienced, and Advanced Social Workers to join its Assessment & Child Protection Team. The team is organised into five PODs, each led by an Assistant Team Manager, providing clear management oversight and regular support.

In this role, you will:

  • Complete statutory assessments and child protection enquiries
  • Develop robust plans that promote positive outcomes for children
  • Support smooth transitions for children who require ongoing services

You will be part of a supportive and reflective team with high aspirations for children, benefiting from regular supervision, training, and opportunities for professional growth.

About You
To be considered, you must:

  • Hold a recognised Social Work degree or equivalent qualification
  • Be registered with Social Work England
  • Have experience working collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies

We are seeking motivated and ambitious practitioners who are passionate about safeguarding and keen to contribute to continuous service improvement and high‑quality practice.
