Location: Dudley (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £44 per hour

Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Team Manager to join its client at Dudley’s Care Leavers Service.

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will 

• Manage a team of Personal Advisors.
• Demonstrate experience as a Team Manager within Children in Care (CIC) or Care Leavers services, with a preference for long-term assignments over multiple short-term contracts.
• Support children transitioning to independence, applying creative approaches to pathway planning and facilitating referrals to Adult Social Services or other relevant services for children with physical or learning difficulties.
• Apply strong best practice knowledge at Team Manager level, maintaining a focused and motivated approach to delivering quality care and leadership to young people in Dudley.
• Provide expertise in signposting and supporting young people into employment or education, including familiarity with services such as the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
• Engage with potential employers and organize drop-in sessions for young people.
• Support children transitioning into adulthood under challenging circumstances (e.g., homelessness) and assist older children in achieving independence.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
