Regional Project Cost Accountant – Southeast Region

• →Ensure accurate project setup and maintenance within company systems, including cost structures, budgets, and project financial data.
• →Monitor job costs, support WIP reporting, and help maintain the accuracy and integrity of project financial information.
• →Coordinate project closeout activities, including compliance documentation, lien waivers, open commitments, and cross-functional follow-up.
• →Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Project Controls, Payroll, AP/AR, and Operations teams to resolve issues and support project financial performance.
• →Support month-end close processes by reviewing project transactions, researching discrepancies, and helping ensure accurate reporting.
• →Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and support standardization across regional operations.

• 3+ years of construction accounting, project accounting, or project cost accounting experience.
• Experience with job cost tracking, budgeting, and WIP reporting within a project-based environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple stakeholders and departments.

• Experience with Viewpoint Vista or similar construction ERP systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Experience supporting construction, industrial, engineering, or project-based operations.
• Exposure to project closeout, compliance coordination, or subcontract administration processes.
