The Lorain County Community College Children's Learning Center seeks student workers for our Gold Star Step Up To Quality-rated childcare center. Students enrolled in the Early Childhood Education Program are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to Early Childhood Education students, but it is not a requirement. 

Selected student workers will be working under the direct supervision of the teaching staff; the student worker will support the classroom and center's daily operations to ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times. Student workers will assist assigned teachers with routine tasks and functions that promote health, nutrition, and personal hygiene; keep the classroom and center clean, neat, and orderly; assist with inventory of supplies and materials; report needs to teachers; help with supervising the children under the direction of the teachers, and assume other duties as delegated or assigned by the teacher. 

Selected candidates will be required to undergo an extensive background check. Also, your doctor's medical statement and proof of high school completion are required before employment.

Established in 1963, Lorain County Community College is the first community college in Ohio with a permanent campus.
