We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join our team in Chandler, Arizona, where you will play a key role in shaping and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and change management. You will work as part of a Global HR team to lead initiatives that enhance employee retention, support talent development, and ensure compliance with employment laws across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand organizational goals and develop HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Partner with leadership to identify and address workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning needs.
  • Identify opportunities for organizational improvement and lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Facilitate change management efforts to support organizational growth and transformation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee complaints or concerns, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on effective communication, leadership, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Support the implementation and execution of performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback processes.
  • Provide training and resources to managers to ensure consistent and fair performance management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to mitigate risks and ensure organizational compliance.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee relations.
  • Proven experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving complex employee issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of US employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (SuccessFactors) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning and talent management strategies.
  • Experience in change management and organizational development.
  • Occasional travel within the US will be required of approx. 10-20%.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or a similar field, is required.
  • SHRM is preferred, but not required.
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
