Paint Lead

Located at our Byron Center, MI location, the Paint Lead collaborates with our paint team and oversees day to day start up, running and shut down of the paint line to produce the highest quality product..  Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• →Promoting a safe work environment for all employee owners

• →Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of Finishing operations 
• →Assigning work ensuring timely and accurate completion

• →Leveraging lean management systems to promote a measurable continuous improvement culture
• →Utilizing problem-solving skills to promote a cost effective and seamless process
• →Leading 5S efforts to create a visual place for everything
• →Assisting the team as needed
• →Performing other tasks/duties as requested by the Superintendent

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Able to reach, grasp, bend, and stoop
• Able to be on feet 8 hours per day
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively/continuously
