We are looking for a high-energy hunter to join our Small & Medium Business (SMB) team, focused on our Film & TV (FTV), Streaming Viewership Modeled (SVM) and Music Connect entertainment product lines. You will equip the businesses that drive music & entertainment with the industry's most powerful data tools - spanning production intelligence, streaming viewership, and music analytics.

As an Account Executive, you will:

  • Build a Net-New Empire: Develop a book of clients from scratch through aggressive outbound strategies—cold calling, targeted email, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Master the Product Suite: Become an expert across Luminate’s full product suite — Film & TV (FTV) for pre-production intelligence, SV(M) for streaming performance, and CONNECT for music consumption and chart analytics.
  • Architect the Funnel: Leverage our sales stack to identify and close deals within the sub-$30M account sector, moving leads rapidly from first touch to closed-won.
  • Execute Solution-Based Selling: Show entertainment professionals how our data helps them execute - pitch at the right moment, market their content, and model revenue with surgical precision.
  • Own the Outcome: Collaborate in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating extreme urgency and a hands-on approach to hitting and exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas.
  • Operator Mindset: You think like the owner of your territory. You embrace continuous learning and view every challenge as an opportunity to refine your pitch.
  • Attitude & Action: You don't wait for leads to land in your inbox. You are proactive, solution-oriented, and contribute to a culture of collective growth.
  • Process & Passion: You maintain high operational rigor—standardizing your pipeline in Salesforce and utilizing call-listening to improve—while staying deeply engaged with the Film & TV and Music landscape.

What We Offer

Earning Potential: Annual base salary plus commission and performance-based bonus incentives.

Requirements

  • At least 1-3 yrs of SaaS SMB individual contributor sales experience 
  • Full sales-cycle ownership experience
  • Entertainment/PLG experience a plus

Additionally, applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

For candidates based in California: A good faith estimate of the salary range is $75k+ commission upon hire, with on target earnings of $150k. We consider your skills and experience, what similar jobs pay at companies of our size, and ensure fair pay among colleagues. Final base salary offer amounts are determined by factors including your experience and expertise. In addition we are proud to offer additional perks and benefits that contribute and complete our total compensation package.  Luminate reserves the right to change our compensation bands at any time.
